Best vacuum for hairy dogs who molt a lot

Hi

I have a floofy Bernese Mountain dog and he is VERY keen to share his fluff with our carpets, it is crazy, we vacuum, turn around and more clumps of hair have appeared again.

Our faithful Dyson has finally said enough is enough and konked out, not bad though after 16yrs so cant complain.

We now need to get a new vacuum cleaner.

I thought I would seek recommendations from fellow dibbers who own very hairy dogs that shed like crazy, to see what seems to be the best option to chose.

I prefer upright cleaners with bagless drums.

The majority of our house is carpeted.

We have two shedding dogs and a shark lift away vac... The pet hair version, it does, a great job

We have a Alaskan malamute Siberian cross, double coated who blows his coat twice a year and just leaves tumble weed around the house all the time. We brought a dyson animal ball it was absolutely rubbish. We went for a vax a third of the price and picks up a lot better. That is now our upstairs vacuum and we brought a vax lif away picks up great and is easy for the stairs and cost �129 from vax direct including postage.

I had a Dyson which was useless, a Bosch which was even more useless, both cylinder, then converted to an upright Shark which is great, the amount of hair that came out of my carpets when I first got it was incredible.

We have a shark cordless anti hair wrap pet 3 dogs all casting right now much easier to hoover dog areas 2/3 times a day as we nee� tow with it than dragging a hoover out

My shark anti hair wrap cordless is useless as it constantly chokes on my GSD's hair.
Interesting that Gryff likes it, maybe mine has a problem.
