Cancelled holiday - what have you bought?

I had to cancel our Disney trip - we were due back home on Sunday.
I’ve used this as an excuse to make a purchase that I wouldn’t ordinarily have made. Has anyone else done that?

My purchase is a bread proofer/slow cooker - but got it primarily as a bread proofer. I’ve made the Cupcake Jemma cinnamon buns a few times and hoping this will make the proofing a whole lot more predictable.

We just bought 2 sun loungers for the garden and justified it with the savings we have made not going camping this week!

We've not cancelled and decided to wait to see if it is cancelled for us but I must think this holiday cost us about £30k the amount of things I'm going to do if we "don't go to Disney"

Firstly I'm going to book us a holiday for next year to California instead.

Then I'm going to book another holiday to Spain to visit friends we've not seen for a couple of years.

I'm going to get our garden done as we've spent so much time in it I've noticed lots that needs doing.

And apparently I've promised my DD new fitted wardrobes!

I know I'm living in dreamland but it's helping me pass the lockdown time and it's giving me a head start on the "what we'll do when we win the lotto " list.

While I understand why the problem with getting a puppy at this time is that they will not be able to attend puppy training sessions. If you miss the chance for puppies to interact with other dogs it can cause issues in the future.

Disclaimer, not in every case.

We’ve not cancelled yet, but will do soon if we can’t travel for September & move it till next year.
We bought a new fridge, toaster & kettle. Our fridge broke 3 weeks ago after 18 years so treated ourselves to a smeg❤️
