First trip to DLP
Just a few words, not really a trip report.
We arrived on Saturday having added a couple of days to the end of a holiday in the south of France. Me, dh and dd10 who is undiagnosed autistic - its a long process that weve entered into. As this was an add on we went cheap - 2 nights at the kyriad which included breakfast. It was ok, clean and did its job even if there was a slight musty smell to the room. We had 2 day park hopper tickets so on Saturday we just did the evening in the village and did some shopping after a 6 hour drive from the south. Sunday was a full Disney day, we were there from the start of the day and did well in adventure land getting on pretty much everything with short waits. Dds Anxiety prevents going on the larger rides to some extent, wed had breakfast at the kyriad so ate at around 4 and Bella Nolte was the choice after seeing the Mickey head pizza! Dd loved her meal, I had lasagne which was basically layers of pasta which had glanced the pan of tomato sauce and dh had a rigatoni pasta which again had very little sauce, pretty under whelmed but glad dd ate. We did 12.5 hours between the 2 parks on Sunday which in hindsight was probably a bit too much. On Monday we pretty much mooched feeling to worn out and achey to do much more. Lunch was a hot dog at Caseys which I loved! We didnt have any problems with miserable staff, slow staff yes but not miserable! We found lots of people just walking in the parks not looking where they were going so bumping into everyone. On the whole I would say I enjoyed the trip, I did think it was on the expensive side and the food let it down and theres a lack of snacks available? Or did we just miss these. I doubt ill return to be honest, it just didnt do it for me. |

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts.
I am off in a few weeks so will remember that early morning on a Sunday is a good time to hit the rides in Parc Disneyland. Think I might try the Mickey head pizza too, after getting a seal of approval from your DD Sorry to hear your final day was a bit quieter as you overdid it, but appreciate the tip of hot dogs at Caseys. I hope that you enjoy your cruise!
