Thumbs up The Crystal Palace--update

Expanded seating, a new character parade, and new Chef Douglas James, highlight the many improvements after months of refurbishment at The Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom® Park. Sit down to a bountiful buffet featuring fresh seasonal entrees as the dining room comes alive with the day's offerings being freshly prepared in the onstage kitchen. The Crystal Palace is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With the reopening of The Crystal Palace, Tony's Town Square Restaurant invites you to join them for traditional Italian fare, offered a la carte daily for lunch and dinner (without appearances from Disney characters).

Anyone eaten here before?

We have not eaten at Tony's but have eaten at CP.

We had a great laugh and the food was nice too. I would go back to CP.

Had breakfast here twice it was top notch, if a bit hectic. There are hardly any loos so go before you go in.
We will be having lunch there on the 20th Feb - we are a family of Tigger & Eeyore lovers.

A good tip here to get the best out of a breakfast at CP.

Book your breakfast for 10am

this means you can enter the park do some of the rides/attractions whilst others are eating. At 10am you'll be sat eating having done some of the park. Around 10:30 you'll find that the CP starts to empty and by 11am you'll almost have the place to yourself. The characters still come around and you get lots of interaction as they dont have to spread themselves around lots of tables.
As you exit CP they will be getting ready for the Lunch crowd, you'll then be able to enjoy the rest of the park over the lunch period when everybody else is looking for somewhere to eat.

We've done this twice now and had a fantastic time.

We loved the Crystal Palace and with the refurbishment plan on going there again in May - thanks for the timing tip Stu, I'll be booking our breakfast for 10am.
