Asus X550C query
Before I throw this laptop out of the window I thought I would ask for help via the Dibb.
My laptop decides to switch off the wi-fi when it feels like it and the only way to get it back is to close and reopen - which is very frustrating. Can anyone help with this please? I don't know much about laptops to be fair but know its not right to be doing this. Your help would be very much appreciated as its driving me nuts!

There is a setting which tells the network switch of when the Laptop goes to sleep. It is extremely annoying especially when dealing with an entire ict suite that kept doing this. I’ll try and find more details.

Press Windows Key + S, and type Network and Sharing Center.
Click on the top result to open Network and Sharing Center. Click on Change adapter settings. Right click on Wireless Network Connection and select Properties. Click on the Configure button. Choose the Power Management tab. Uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Restart your device and check if the issue persists. |
