Mobile Gwazi worse ride ever to smoothest

This ride was the worse ride I had ever been on. It used to shake the fillings outta yer teeth and make kids cry. But now it's being converted to s hybrid coaster using steel rails.
Anyone else remember going on this ride

Iron Gwazi is an upcoming steel roller coaster under construction at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay amusement park in Tampa, Florida. Being built and designed by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), it will feature RMC's patented I-Box Track technology. Iron Gwazi will reuse a large portion of the wooden structure that existed when the coaster was known as Gwazi, making it a hybrid roller coaster that utilizes a combination of steel and wood. It will become the tallest hybrid roller coaster in North America when it opens, as well as being the joint tallest hybrid coaster alongside Zadra at Energylandia which shares a similar layout. It will also be the steepest and fastest hybrid roller coaster in the world.[1] It is expected to open in 2020

I remember riding it when I first ever went to Florida as a kid and I can remember it being painful! The new Iron Gwazi looks amazing though!

I only went on Gwazi once back in 2003 on our first visit and I thought my head was going to fall off it was awful.
I resisted all attempts by DH to go on it again and I’m not sure I want to go on the new one when we next visit.

Ohhh how I hated Gwazi, an absolute bone shaker, sadly my old bones don't like coasters so much now so I won't be trying the new one.

Never ridden anymore wooden coasters after the wooden Hurricane at Boardwalk & Baseball, I thought I was going to pass out, it was horrendous. DS has never let me forget my fishwife language

We did the front row late at night during a Howl-o-scream event. It was amazing.

I never really liked it during the day but that one ride was something else.

We have tickets for Busch this August, and new Gwazi is top of the list. Fingers crossed.

I rode it and loved it, I mean it was fun because it was SO shaky.
I've ridden a RMC conversion (Twisted Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain) and it was superb, one of the best coasters I've ridden.
So don't dismiss it because it used to be rough, give it a go

I have rode it many moons ago. Once was enough, though we have been to BG many times since then, I have never ventured back on to it. I will give the new one ago, I have old bones now and they can't be doing with being shaken about, so I hope it's a lot smoother !

I think it was the first ride I ever did at Busch Gardens because it didn't look too bad, no loops or anything. How wrong I was! I came off with a headache that lasted all day and I never rode it again.

I used to love Gwazi even though I wouldn't go on the Hulk or rip ride rocket. They were putting the new one up when we were there in December and it is really tall , it dwarfed the original frame, not one I would go on now.
