I just wanted to ask, I've been dieting for just about a year now because I started dieting for my Orlando holiday last Sept, and although I tried to stick to the diet I still put on a little between then and Dec and then I got engaged in Dec so I put much more effort back in to it then, so do you want the loss from a year ago or from when I got engaged? Also do you want the wedding dates too? wasn't sure and the threads got a bit long to read all the way through. Hope that makes sense!
From the most recent time I think is best, or you can start from scratch if you want
Maybe we can add dates later? Maybe see how it goes first!
Good luck!

Portion sizes is one of my downfalls. DB likes to make big bowls of lovely mashed potato and it's sooo hard saying no!

Really felling motivated now that I've read this. Don't get weighed until wednesday though so will have to wait until then to add mine.

Weigh in number one after a week and all I can say is woo hoo!

I've lost 7lbs on my lower calorie and exercise diet!

Let's keep focused for another week!

I just wanted to say thanks for doing this "Natsy Noo" - it's such a brilliant motivator, like my own little weight watchers!

Imagine how much money could be donated to the wedding funds by saving £5 per week on group charges! Silly! we all have a common motivator, nothing like wanting to be a skinny bride!

I gained 1lb this week. I knew I wouldn't lose as I've had 2 bags of Percy Pigs, 1 bag of mini eggs, 1/2 tub crunchie ice cream, carvery and a Malteaster! So I'm quite pleased!

That puts me at 7.5lbs in total now. Been on the diet track since February so not all that overjoyed by that but it's been mine, my sister's and DFi's birthdays, and easter. But here were are, no secrets now!

I would like to say though I am at my lowest weight for certainly 1 year, if not more!

4 stone more to lose to reach my BMI, 3 stone til I am at my goal (for now), would like to lose the other 1/2 stone in the next 3 weeks. My baby bro and sis are getting christened on 9th May so would like to be most of the way there for that (20 days, feasible IMO)!

How about the rest?

Well done disneydreamer, 7 pounds is FAB! Are you doing any specific exercises?

NatsyNoo and Kim - As you know this week start afresh. I think this thread is great motivator (nowhere to hide Natsy) Everyone has bad weeks but as long as the trend is weight loss and not weight gain, then we are going int he right direction!

So I weighed in this morning and lost 4 pounds I am happy but I think I deserved to lose moreI am have been SO GOOD this week, exercising and keeping within my carb limit, I had hoped I would lose more. Still I have to be happy with 4 pounds. As of today I have now lost 1 stone since I started dieting, so that I am happy with. I would be ecstatic if I lost that again this week but I know the closer you get to the weight you want to be, the harder it is to get bigger numbers. I actually am the lowest weight I have been in 2 years, not what I was at my wedding, but getting close. I managed to fit into a pair of trousers I wore on my honeymoon (they were tight and not at all comfortableto sit in, but I couldn't even close them last year).

I think I am going to purchase a digital scale this week, as this morning I spent ages squinting as it seemed to hover.

Good luck to everyone else still to weigh in and glad to see so many joining. We now have our own personal slimming club

Wow well done disneydreamer* - keep going!

Dont worry Natsynoo - just think it could be worse and you have done great so far. Lose slow and steady and keep it off!. Just re-focus this week - sometimes I find I am extra motivated if I put on a lb, just keep the christening in mind and go for it! Percy Pigs are yum - so glad I dont live near M&S!

I weigh on a Fri so will update then

Thanks all for your kind words

Well done to everyone especially Summer on reaching her milestone! keep going lovely! Those trousers will be baggy soon!
And remember, losing too much each week will make it more difficult to sustain!

I'm not upset about my 1lb as I was expecting it, I imagine I will have lost it again by tomorrow and actually it was only 3/4lb but I round up/down 1/4 lbs so even less damage! I just need to stay away from those pigs!

This thread is fab! Love it!
