I'm not gong to put this through my insurance. The plumber fitted it yesterday so I'm putting it in his hands. I'm also not prepared to pay for new flooring or skirting as again that was all put in yesterday. I have no water so do you think it's okay to open the wine? !

Not long left the house. It's the dishwasher that caused the problem but was 'plumbed and fitted fine'. Now waiting for an engineer from the supplier to come and take a look to see if a manufacturing fault caused the leak. I can see them passing the buck to each other

Aw no, worst possible outcome.

Were you stood there the whole time so he couldn't tighten or tweak.

Did he run a cycle to see if any more water leaked?

Seriously though, really hope you get it sorted quickly, if it's not a faulty machine then it must be the plumber's error.

Sorry but that sounds like ########.

You should have gotten your insurance involved they would at least have told you who is at fault now you can't prove anything and the manufacturer will also say it's not his fault.
