Mobile First time with no planning

Hi,

My wife and I have ended up in Florida due to a cancelled cruise. We're heading to Orlando tomorrow, staying near to Universal. It's our first time and we've had to chance to research/plan.

Any advice for some of the highlights we should hit? We're here for 6 days.

Sorry to hear your cruise has been cancelled but there is plenty to do in Florida at least! What sort of things do you like to do?

There’s the obvious visiting the theme parks but aside from this here is some of the other stuff we have done before/would like to do;

Wild Florida - Airboat Ride & Zoo
Shopping - Florida Mall, International Drive outlets and Vineland outlets are some of our favourites
Disney Springs
Universal Citywalk
International Drive
Orlando Eye
Kennedy Space Centre (would need a car to get here)
Blue Spring State Park (or any of the springs - but again would need a car)
Disney Boardwalk - you can hire bikes, boats or just take a wander. In the evenings they have street performers.
Celebration - lovely town for a walk around - can often spot all types of wildlife and have restaurants and shops
Discovery Cove
Visit some of the Disney resorts - you can watch the fireworks from ones like the Polynesian and some of them have some lovely restaurants

I’m sure others will be along with lots more ideas too. I hope you manage to enjoy the holiday despite the cruise being cancelled.

Hi,

Thanks for the information! I'll have a Google of those places and see what suits...to be honest I don't really have any knowledge of the parks, where stuff is, getting passes and that kind of thinsure I can figure it out. We hopefully we'll get a day in a water park, one in universal, Disney, some outlet shopping
