Car Hire For 2 People - Upgrade Or Standard
Hello,
My partner and I will be going in 2022. There is only the two of us with probably one large case each and hand luggage. We are there for three weeks - end of September into October. Currently hoping this will be back to some sort of normal by this time but you never know. We're aiming for all the parks as my partner has never been before plus getting married. My question is, is it worth upgrading/paying our for a nice car when we won't necessarily be using it too much? Plus the additional cost of the park parking. Or do we just get a bog standard one. We're hoping to be on site so we could use Disney transportation. If we can't get onsite then it could be useful. When we go to Universal we'll stay on site too but we like the idea of being able to maybe pop out somewhere if we wanted if that makes sense. I've read lots of people get around using Uber or Lyft and say its good but don't think its worth using them for a return journey to a park as it will work out too expensive. I'm totally stumped, any advice or guidance would be great. |

Personally I would resolve the issue of on or off site first and then base your decision on that.
Having said that, we've always had a car and even though there are only two of us have a Full Size car as we tend to do a fair amount of miles.

If you are staying onsite for three weeks could you hire a really nice car for 2 or 3 day hires during your stay maybe week one and then again in week three. . You would reduce your parking charges, use magic express to and from the airport and hire special cars which you don’t need to fit cases in to. You could also use Ubers in between if needed.

If it's just the 2 of you and won't have huge amounts of luggage, I'd highly recommend a Mustang/camero convertible
