So to jump on this thread, is the BA car insurance included really fully inclusive? Or should we expect to have to upgrade it?

Totally inclusive, you will not have to pay anything else.

Hello. We used BA + AVIS last year, can't fault it at all. I didn't know Budget offered the free 2nd driver as stated above by w513mfs, but all the other info is brilliant (just to clarify, I'm not saying w513mfs is wrong about the 2nd driver)

I joined AVIS Preferred to skip the desk in Tampa, but had to go to the kiosk at the garage anyway to give 2nd driver info. Does anyone know if this can be skipped next time as it will be same drivers?

Given that AVIS offer better spec cars and the 'free' 2nd driver, the extra ££ was better for us
