I’ll wait until tomorrow and if it hasn’t changed I guess I’ll have to argue my case again. I assume live chat is monitored?

Also, what is with the £10 admin fees?!

Ended up with a lower price overall though so not too unhappy, did take ages though
First off, I don't know what offers are currently available, or whether you qualify.
Last week, I rang up and the subscription was changed from Sky Entertainment with Multiroom, Sky Sports F1HD, and Boxsets to Sky Signature with Multiscreen (the new name for Multiroom), and Sky Sports F1HD.

Apparently Sky Signature includes Boxsets, and there is no longer a payment required for Sky Sports F1 in HD.

(I'm not referring to UHD).

The new monthly price is £39 for Sky Signature with Multiscreen ( apparently cheaper than separate itemised at £29 plus £14 which is £43.).
Sky Sports F1HD is £18 but it was offered at £10. Making the new monthly payment £49.
This is a special discount offer applied for 12 months, but the price may increase during this time. It is the discount that is fixed not the monthly amount.
Of course, the contract is 18 months so the price is likely to be increased to at least £43 SSwM plus £18 SSF1HD, making a total after 12 months of £61 until the end of contract at 18 months.

It was suggested to contact Sky after 12 months and they would 'do their best' to help with the cost.

The person I was ringing for can't really use the phone so I asked if Sky could do anything to make it cheaper. A £5 monthly reduction off the Sky Signature with Multiscreen was agreed making it £44 total per month, including Sky Sports F1HD.

If you are out of contract just tell them you won't pay the admin fee they usually cancel it.

I'm not suggesting that's the best deal available but gives an idea.
I normally use chat and take pictures of the conversation as proof.

The online Sky account sometimes takes a few hours to update, as does the access through your box.

If your not happy just get straight back on chat, or ring up again. Some are better than others but you'll get there in the end.

New offers but should be available for existing customers too.

I eventually got £39.50 for 12 months (signature, F1, HD, multiscreen) which increases to £47.50 when the F1 offer stops.

I’ll obviously tackle the F1 when the time comes. Was paying £47 and due to increase to £51 so not too bad in the end.

We have broadband via BT as we got consistently better speeds.

Think I would be happy with that.

It's tricky because there are so many offers, and the really cheap ones seem to be from cancellations department, 'offers team', if you are out of contract, and threaten to cancel, or even go through with cancelling and let them get back to you.
I'm not brave enough to do that on somebody else's behalf though.
She's content paying £44 because it had gone up to £64.
I had a £5 bottle of LIDL wine out of it.

Yeah, I was out of contract and prepared to cancel if necessary.

Took longer than I would have liked but I guess £7.50 per month less was not too bad
