Our anniversaries always start on October 1.
For our 40th, I went to a hard ticket event (2 or 3 days, I can't quite remember) that was held at the Contemporary - Room for One More (it was a Haunted Mansion Event) and it began on September 30, 2011.

I have read that Disney are going to make an announcement soon as to what their plans are for the 50th. Hopefully it's not just a rumour!

We're planning to go in October but not sure when we'll be at the parks yet as our cruise looks like it's going to be cancelled. If that happens our park dates will change so it's all a bit up in the air at the moment.
