Depending on how long I had, I would do a whole water park day! Last visit we were in Disney for 2 weeks, water park days were needed and a welcome rest!

The waterparks aren't due to open yet, hence why they haven't been mentioned in relation to the park reservation system. I wouldn't be surprised if they are added to the park reservation system once Disney decides it is going to reopen them. Disney will want to monitor and limit the number of people in the waterparks just like it is doing at the main parks.

Plenty of people spend most of their day at a waterpark. We have in the past. So there will be people who are okay with choosing TL or BB as their only park for the day.

Over 17 days we’d probably spend 6 at least at a water park 😊 .

Would love to do a waterpark for 1 day. We went last year - our 1st time and never had chance to visit a water park. Going next February and would love to try just 1 day. However don't know if any will be open nor how cold the water will be

They tend not to open until about March, at the earliest from memory.

We did a last-minute week over the February half-term. Most days were really very warm and we spent two of them at Blizzard Beach. The weather was perfect and there was next to no-one there - a complete contrast to our Summer trips - it was perfect.

The weather dramatically cooled on the Friday of that week, and they announced in advance that BB was going to be closed that day as a result.

The water parks are open all year round, with the exception that they tend to refurb one park each winter.

Ah, my mistake - I thought they both closed and one or the other had a refurb.

It was a more flippant comment, but when given only ONE option, I wonder how many would actively choose TL or BB over a park when they cannot hop. Purely rhetorical.
