I've now had an email from Sky telling me that my price will increase by £4 a month. I want to discuss this and the website tells me not to call and yet live chat doesn't appear to be available.

It seems a bit ridiculous to call but I appear to have no other option. And whilst £4 per month isn't a massive burden that's not really the point

--------------------------------------------------------------------

We have some offers on our Sky TV package and I am sure they are due to end soon but I can't see anywhere on the online account to see a date.

I know there used to be an online chat but I can't find that either and I don't really want to phone for such a minor query.

I just wondered if anyone had any ideas where the online chat function has gone? I know I had trouble finding it last time too...
So sky with all their technical knowledge cant get staff working from home? What a load of tosh! My organisation got our call centre staff working from home in 3 days!

Use Twitter to express your astonishment and dissatisfaction with their customer service

The trouble is they do work from home (I know this as I'm pretty sure we have a dibber that works for them - from home). I think they just don't want to talk to people! Good idea about twitter though - I hadn't thought of that!

I had this with M&S, they asked me if I was a key worker, so I told them I'm not a key worker, but I am a key customer.
They sorted out my query.

I sorted out a neighbour's Sky last week.
Chat is available if you click through cancelling option.
I rang them and it was answered after about five minutes on hold.
Just ignore the restrictions on who they want to speak to.
They reduced the cost of subscription, and offered a Sky Mobile 3GB SIM for 12 months at £5 then £12 monthly, which was cheaper than 02. Despite using same network.

Finally managed to get through on chat after sending them a message on Twitter. Will see how I get on

Hmm, I’ll reserve judgement but not sure the chat guy has done what we agreed.

Price should be £43.50 per month (sky signature, Hd, sky F1 and multi screen) but currently showing as £46.50 on my account which was his first offer.

I’ll wait until tomorrow and if it hasn’t changed I guess I’ll have to argue my case again. I assume live chat is monitored?

Also, what is with the £10 admin fees?!

Went back on chat, slightly disappointed as it seems the first guy told me some inaccurate details.

Ended up with a lower price overall though so not too unhappy, did take ages though

I rang up last week to sort out our package.
Just give them a call, there wasn’t too long of a wait and they were definately not working from home cos I could hear other people taking calls in the background
