No Disney 2021 so trying to get fit

Well Disney is off the plans for next year due to covid threat and restrictions in the parks.

So decided to buy a bike with the money I saved from the flight which I received at the end of July

All seems to be on track as I have just dropped my first stone 4 weeks after buying the bike.

Feeling better already 😸

Getting Excited

I’m a 36yr old male.

At the start of lockdown I weighed 20.5 stone. I go to a lot of football matches, at home and abroad, and that doesn’t help, and in my job I work from home which also doesn’t help.

I booked an August 2021 holiday back in April and soon realised due to my seat on the plane the table would come out of the armrest, not fold down.

I immediately started dieting and walking more, it helps we got a dog the day before lockdown kicked in!

I now weigh 3.5 stone less, 17 stone exactly.

By my next holiday in March I want to be 14 stone at the most. By my August holiday 12.5 stone.

I have another holiday booked for October 2021 where I want to maintain my weight, and same again for Florida 2022

It feels well worth it already, still a long way to go though.

One of the best bits from a selfish point of view is noticing those around me, so many have put on weight since lockdown, and some of the kids I coach (football), well, the weight they have gained is frightening

Well done on your new healthy lifestyle and weight loss. Dh and I have both bought bikes and are really enjoying the countryside and the health benefits that come with a bike ride in the fresh air.
