I can't imagine this being popular with major travel agents. Not exactly an easy sell for next year is it?
No fireworks, parades, character meals, no free dining, no park hopping, must book parks well in advance + crazy admission prices |

Hope they allow park hopping . We like to say go to HS and then Epcot for evening ADR as dining options are better. Oh well , may have to eat more at Disney Springs. Also if you leave for an afternoon break , can you go back to that park in the evening? What Happens with water parks when they reopen, does that mean it’s the only park you can book for that day? Interesting.

Park availability is different for each of the 3 categories.
Example. Today is not available to Annual Passholder or Off Site guests at Hollywood Studios. For onsite guests it is available. This pattern does seem to favour on site, then off site followed up by AP visitors (seem to get a rough deal, only being able to book 3 days!). It would be interesting to see if you could enter the Magic Kingdom on a reservation, do an hour or two then cancel it in MDE and make a new one at Epcot. As we have DVC we are highly likely to be onsite for at least one visit a year, hopping isn't that big a deal to us. |

Biggest complaint was already planning like a military operation.
This has been universally panned. Expect backtracking / clarifications shortly... I’m glad I’ve got my DVC as I’ll go and enjoy being on site and go to one park and head back around the pool. Only thing I’ll miss is ability to go to Epcot etc later and eat but will just eat offsite a lot more- usually have a car anyway and free parking. I wouldn’t want to be paying Disney prices for accommodation though, even though I love being onsite.

There’s a reason universal are doing better than disney right now!
Terrible idea having to book a park possibly months in advance and is a sure way to get us visiting the other Orlando parks instead. |

It'll be a hard pass from me if there's no more park hopping for Disney parks. I will still go to Florida; there's plenty for me to see and do to keep me going back.

Park Day reservations do not bother me
Afterall, we have to book our ADR's 180 days out, FP+ 60 days out if onsite, so whats another reservation between friends sure we will not be able to park hop, but thats not a major issue, you can still shoot off for a few hours and return to your park to enjoy the fireworks ( cannot you ? ? ? ) |

I don't want to decide months in advance which park I am visiting and on which day, I like to fly by the seat of my pants and see how I'm feeling on any given day. It's bad enough just deciding which day to book Discovery Cove ! Can't see this working long term. What about walk ups ? People who go away at the last minute and just decide when they are there to have a day at Disney ? Nope, it's a holiday not a stress fest.
