What bars/restaurants are open?
We are going to Paris and DLP in Sept (if reciprocal quarantine isn't put in before then). Luckily we WFH so quarantining in the UK is a non-issue really, we just need to exercise at home and can socialise on Zoom with our fellow holiday-goers.
We've booked Captain Jack's and Remy so we know they're open, and we tried to book King Ludwig's and Buffalo Bill's but couldn't so we know they're closed. However I'm trying to work out which other bars/restaurants are open and the website is no help at all. Really we just want to know where we can have a drink. Normally we'd go to DLH, or Billy Bobs or the Sports Bar place. Also do we know if Annette's/EoS/Five Guys are open? With the parks closing at 6pm now, we need somewhere to eat and have a few cocktails! And finally, how is the free half board breakfast working these days? Last time I went to the NY Sandwich place in the Village, or Hyperion for the gross omelette sandwich. Is it still the same? Thanks in advance! |

Can't help sorry, but as Newport Bay is open I presume the bar and restaurant are too.
Breakfast is now in the hotel, they have stopped the silly counter service one. Really good to see you back!

Thanks Gill! We are staying at NPB so at least we have that. I'm sure we'll track down a drink. I just like to know what my options are
Also I'm very glad to hear that breakfast is in the hotel again! Happy to be back - I had to have a break after post-holiday blues last year |

The Sports bar is open as far as I know as they have had to restrict which screens they air sports events to minimize crowds.

Hey Lottie,
My husband and I went a couple of weeks ago and cocktails were high on our agenda too, particularly as our beloved Cafe Fantasia is currently closed at DLH. We stayed at NPB also. The bar there is very good and we had a few rum based cocktails, one called the black pearl and another served in a tiki mug. It will be closed when you go but we also walked up to the Cheyenne and had a drink in the bar there which was really nice. I’ve not tried Santa Fe but that could be an option. In terms of the village, Rainforest Cafe was open when we went, you could probably just go for a drink and appetiser if you wanted. Earl of sandwich and annettes also open. earl was only open particular hours so check before you go. In terms of drinks in the village- the sports bar was open. We also spent a happy hour or two over at Billy Bob’s saloon- they did frozen cocktails which were actually pretty good.

Thanks so much for your comprehensive answer, exactly what I was looking for. I like the Cheyenne bar so we will definitely do a trip there Santa Fe is a bit more like a cafeteria so will give that one a miss I think!

Also there is (gasp) life offsite! A 5 min ride on the RER will bring you lots of options. Last visit we discovered Alfred Burger (superb independent burger place, think Five Guys but fancy ingredients) and L’Interprete (classic French bistro).

Leave the bubble, never!
Haha actually I'm not against it, when I was a CM we used to go to the places around Val D'Europe. There was a bar we used to go to a lot and the name is on the tip of my tongue but I can't quite remember it. I'm going to look up L'Interprete, thanks |
