Blackpool Area, where to live?

So my DD has just been offered her first job in Blackpool. We live 4 hours away and have no idea where the nice areas are to live. She will need to rent a room in a shared house.

Any ideas please

I'm no expert but I'd say the north shore is nicer than the south part. It depends on where in Blackpool the job is and transport, especially given these present times.

I would look at Bispham,Norbreck,Anchorsholme, not Claremont or Layton as a generalisation. .

By far the nicest areas to live are Lytham and Lytham St Annes which are south shore.

Thank you. I’m a silly old mum stressing a bit over a 21 year old daughter knowing she is moving so far away from home in a crazy old world at the moment. About the only thing I can do is suggest some nice areas to look to live. It’s a very strange feeling.

Which part of the town will she be working in ? That makes a huge difference as transport isn't brilliant in some areas especially in the summer.
