5 years should be enough time for me to save up to go back.

I think this could be done in less then 5 years. Look at cars land. They started building that in July 2009 and it was open Spring 2012. Which is under 3 years from start to finish. Even Fanatsy land was not 5 years. They closed toontown in 2011 and most apart from seven dwarfs was open 2012, yes seven dwarfs was 2014 but still thats only 3 years. Considering that the new star wars area will have only a couple of new rides I would not expect it to take 5 years.
But i know AK expansion is going slowly but how much of that is new technology which can be re-imagined and put into star wars quickly. So hopefully 2 years.

It think people mean 5 years from announcement.

However, if we assume 3 years from construction start to completion (which seems the norm at Disney based on their other projects) plus 1 year from announcement to construction start, that's 4 years in total.

So, it'll probably complete in 2019 - just in time for the last film in the next trilogy.

And yes, the name is rumoured to be changing to Disney's Hollywood Adventure
They take a completely different view (based on cost) to Universal. Universal work on their upcoming changes like the recent Gringotts stuff 24x7. Disney don't employ their contractors on this basis. Clearly their is a big cost difference between 24x7 etc. and 9-5 say as you get 3 times more done.
