Rosen Inn @ Pointe v Rosen Inn International

Hi,

We've always stayed at @Pointe, but was wondering how International compares?

After staying Rosen @ pointe twice, we decided on a change to the international last time as dh fancied a change, It was great & I wouldn't hesitate to stay again but only if Rosen @ pointe wasn't available, I prefer pointe & it's just so much nicer down that end of international drive, still loved our stay at the international though, the hotel is great but overall Rosen @ pointe just tips it mainly due to area

The hotels are almost identical - both were originally Quality Inns. They share shuttle buses to the parks and are on the same stretch of road - less than a half hour stroll apart. It really comes down to which end of International Drive you prefer.

Whilst many will refer to Pointe as the "good end" of I-Drive, as non drivers, we found Rosen Inn International to be more centrally located for the places we wanted to walk to and would therefore choose that one if all other things (i.e. price, availability etc) were equal.

Pointe is a nicer area, opposite Pointe Orlando with plenty of shops and food places. International is right near the interstate and next to a big McDonald's. If I had to chose it would be pointe

I've stayed at Rosen Pointe twice but prefer the Rosen Plaza now having stayed there. Which is situated next to Rosen at Pointe.

I've stayed at International twice, and loved it for the fact we could walk to Universal and Wet n Wild. Were doing a split stay this time, and i couldn't make my mind up between International and Pointe for our I-Drive stay. Then i saw Wet N Wild was set to close and it made my mind up, we chose Pointe. As has been pointed out, it's a nice area of I-Drive, and theres lots of places to eat etc, very close by.

I've stayed at both, in terms of rooms they are exactly the same, but the Pointe one is up the nicer end of I Drive. The Internationsl is in a more central location on I Drive but near the bargain booze shops!

Yes, I don't think it costs a whole lot more but it definitely looks and feels a few notches up. I think prices may have increased but when we stayed there in 2015 there wasn't much price difference.

We've only stayed at Rosen Inn @ Pointe on our visits, quiet and walk up to places like the bars around Orlando eye and Golden Corral. The International looks more convenient but not sure I want to risk swapping.
