2018 onsite plus villa?
Just playing with some prices yesterday and looking at flights.
We have already booked our Dibb villa for 21 nights, Monday to Monday but looking at flights if we booked to leave MAN on the Saturday we could get a couple of nights in a Disney hotel for less than £500 for 2 rooms. The flight price would be the same if we went Sat or Mon. My question is, is it worth staying in a hotel for a couple of nights? We have never done a hotel at WDW as we couldn't cope with 4 of us in 1 room for 3 weeks

I would say it is. You'll get free magic bands just for staying those two nights, could use the Magical Express to WDW and get the car later (saves the drive and means you can have a wee dram or two), you'll be able to book fastpasses at 60 days so earlier than offsite alone and if you do have a car from day 1, you'll get free parking. A good way to start the holiday IMO

Thanks, that's what I was hoping
With respect to the magic bands, does that include a ticket? We were going to buy 21 days but does this mean I would have to use my tickets for the first couple of days? We really wanted to do Magic Kingdom on the first and last day

Yeah go for it. You could do it even cheaper if you booked value resorts.

That's what I'd looked at, as long as there is a bed and a showe, I don't plan on spending much time in there
