Hilton Best Rate Guarantee -Savings to be made for Easter 2017

Just to give a tip off to people who have the flexibility to change hotels as there may be savings to be had.

We were booked into the Hawthorn Suites LBV for this Easter (11 nights) however we noticed that Expedia had a sale on Embassy Suites by Hilton LBV South, and using Hilton's Best Rate Guarantee have secured a reservation @ $110 per night (before tax). They match the existing rate and then knock 25% off.

Very very happy !

I appreciate it won't be applicable to all but some may find it of use

How do you get this best rate guarantee? Do you just send the Hilton a screenshot of the price for them to price match it?

You need to book with Hilton (online or on the phone). Then within 24 hours you need to complete an online claim form Here

Then they will get back to you within 24 hours. On my claim the price at Expedia had gone up slightly so they only match the rate that they see. Probably best to do it on bookings that you can cancel without charge incase they do not agree to it.

Thank you. I've already got a booking with them for the summer, so might get DH to book a room, then try with the best price guarantee. I can then cancel my original room if it's successful.
