Do the supermarkets still provide free carrier bags or is it like the UK now where you pay or provide your own?

Since we last went there is a new Publix near Celebration and a new Walmart near Vineland.

Will probably try the new Publix.

Super Target for us. Less crowded than Walmart and cheaper than Publix.

Hi johnnysharp2 - do you mean the Publix at Water Tower, Celebration as it has been open for quite a while.

I do mean that one and yes I believe it opened in 2012, however though we have been to Orlando many many times we haven't been since 2009.

So probably my 'new' comment was a bit misleading, it is new to us but yes has been open a few years now.

I tried to get into Publix Water Tower just before it opened for all intents and purposes it looked ready to use and only when a workman came to open the door did the penny drop. I prefer it to the one further along 192 near the 535 junction as it has a bigger selection of fresh meat etc.

That's the one at Vineland which is the one I have generally always gone to if it's nearer to our villa, which it is, I just figured the newer store might be better.
