Halloween costume

Hey, we are flying over on 27th October this year and obviously will be there at Halloween, will there be costumes left in the likes of Walmart etc (I only want cheap) or will I be pushing my luck. I know here if you leave it too late you're left with a rubbish selection. I'm wondering if it's different over there as I know Halloween is huge there.

Also while I'm here, what do people wear to fly at that time of year with such a drastic change in weather from here to there, I don't want to be boiling when we land there and freezing when we land at home 😂

I can't help with Halloween, but in terms of flying I go with layers... So usually wear a dress and have with me tights, cardigan, scarf, coat and just layer on and off depending on the temperature!

(Flying back to Singapore from London tonight and currently all bundled up in scarf trench cardigan tights, all of which will come off by the time I hit the 30 degree weather in Singapore!)

Fab, thanks, looks great, will there still be plenty of selection that close to Halloween? I'm excited, it'll be my first time going at that time of year, only my second time full stop haha

Argos currently have adult halloween costumes in their sale starting at �2.99, there are a few still in stock in my local argos. The ladies dresses may be a bit short but could possibly be worn with crop leggings.
They has some mens as well.

Asda online have adult costumes as well if you want to have one before you go.

Walmart will still have themwhen you arrive.
As for travelling it depends , we've been when it's snowed here so leaving at 4am we needed to wrap up . We just travel in jeans , t shirt and hoodie. As it's t time and and an air con car and airport terminal we've never boiled to death getting to the apartment.
We also leave a coat in the car for our return . 7:30 am in Manchester in November is no fun at all.

Halloween over there is more fancy dress than the usual halloween we think of.

Thank you all for the replies, I'm holding off buying anything right now as I plan (try/pray) to lose weight before I go and my son may have a growth spurt in summer too, thanks for all of your help, I'm just too excited 😊
