Sci Fi Diner-In Theater- Hollywood Studios
We have booked an ADR for our forthcoming trip and just wanted to know - is every guest seated in one of the dining cars or, is that just for larger parties? There is only two of us going so wondered whether they put smaller groups like ourselves in a different seating area with smaller tables.
Thank you |

There isn't really any other style of seating apart from the round tables at the back which I think seat 4.
As a 2 you'll likely be in one of the cars facing forward with 3 rows of 2. To be honest it's one of the reasons we don't go there when it's just DH and I, I'm not so keen on people sitting right behind me! |

The cars have three rows each so you have should get a row in a car. We're a family of four so bad two rows and then a couple sat behind us. I'm sure the tables are mainly used for walk-ups however it could just come down to what's available on the day.

Thank you very much for that. I first saw this place on YouTube and I've also seen pictures, is it as dark as it seems? Some people have said they can hardly see what they're eating and don't like it for that reason. Any experiences would be welcome.
Thank you |

We had a car as a 2, I think they usually put you in with another group as hitchhikers! It is very dark, we had to use the lights on our phone to see what we were eating but it is fun and the food is ok. We had a good server and I'm glad we went but I wouldn't go back because of the dark and the food - not that it's bad, there are just other places we prefer

Thanks Kellsbells that has helped me with our decision. I've read before about people using their phones and I don't fancy sitting there like that. We are going to choose something else - thank you.

There were 3 of us in a car. Yes it is dark but has to be with that theme really! We enjoyed it and my burger was surprisingly good (much better than many of the counter service ones). Great shakes too.

We liked the Scfi diner but out of choice I'd rather go to the 50's Prime Time diner in Hollywood Studios.

We really enjoy 50's prime time in HS, I really like the food and the theming is really fun. Or if you wanted to splash out then Hollywood Brown Derby has some of the nicest food I've ever eaten (we only have the QS this time though so wont be going back to either this year )
