Dessert parties
Has anybody done the dessert party at tomorrowland terrace in magic kingdom? The standing area in the plaza gardens? Would you recommend? What kind of desserts were offered? Would you do it after a dinner adr at BOG?
Have you done any of the other dessert parties? Any feedback on those would be helpful as well if you think the illuminations / star wars would be a better option Thanks Edited at 12:21 PM. Reason: Slight change of question |

did it in 2012 and now the price has double so wouldn't do again
heres the view was nice little desserts, choc dipped strawberries etc but the best thing was the lovely ice cold juice on tap. I would probably do lunch earlier - but not dinner just before - because you can eat as many as you want and you will!

Hi,
We have done the Wishes Dessert Party and the Halo-Wishes Dessert Party. If you want a more comfortable viewing experience then I would say do it, the desserts are nothing special...they are nice, but nothing that would represent the cost of the ticket, but thats the point your paying for the viewing space & desserts. After we did the Wishes Dessert party we agreed we wouldnt do it again, based on value for money. However, because you also got a viewing area for the Halo-Wishes Parade when you booked the Halo-Wishes Dessert party & we thought we would only ever manage to attend one MNSSHP event we opted to do it... in the end we skipped the first parade to meet characters and the desserts were at the same level as we had had previously. Not sure if I have helped or not...lol

If you love a sugar overload for $70 then go ahead and do it. We did the Tomorrowland Terrace one and had an excellent view of the fireworks but found the desserts to be too much, too sweet and gooey. They do offer various ice creams as well and some very plain cheese with equally plain biscuits. We wouldn't do it again.
