Is parking free at parks for onsite guests?

Morning. Really silly question here but am I correct in thinking parking is free at parks if staying onsite? We are offsite but have a 2 night stay at POR so will we get three days free parking? If so what do we need to show/do when we get to the parking lots?

Show your Magic Band. Sometimes they will scan them sometimes not.

Yes, parking at the Disney parks is free if you are staying in a Disney hotel. If you are staying 2 nights onsite then you will get 3 days of free parking - the day you check in, the day inbetween the two nights, and the day you check out. In order to get free parking on your first day you'll need to check in at your resort and get your MagicBands before visiting a park. You can check in as early as you want on your first day although your room might not be ready until the afternoon.

It is free at the resort you are staying at and all parks. If you go to another resort, whilst it is still free, you are limited to the 3 hour rule.
