Disney bookings - cross reference

We need to book 2 x rooms at OKW. I am thinking of booking 2 separate bookings to get 2 x $200 gift cards. Has anyone got any experience of being allocated rooms near each other when booking under 2 references? Is it likely that we would be placed close to each other if we booked under the same reference?

We did this. We had a studio and a 2 bed.

I asked them to link my bookings on their systems, but I didn't do OLCI.

Instead, I subscribed to Touring Plans and had a fax sent. I did choose a room block (which we were actually given) but I wrote on the request that we honestly didn't mind where in the resort the rooms were located, as long as they were on the same floor in the same block. Our rooms were next door but one to each other

Thank you - that's really useful info. we will need either 2 x 1 beds or a studio and a 2 bed. X
