Alamo save time!

Alamo save time was great.
Never has our rental been as easy as this.
Was abit apprehensive at first, but printed our stuff off then got off the plane walked over the road to alamo said to a young man there.. We have a full size SUV booked, he passed us some keys and said take that black one there as I have just fetched it back.( Chevy Tahoe )
Got in went to the kiosk to drive out, handed docs we had printed off, driver license plus cc and off we went. Easy!
No hard sell nothing!

Do they give you a car now? have they stopped the "choose yourself from the row"?

Or does that just happen with full size SUV's?

As we went out and gave our cc there was sat navy's on the side ... I think they must be for people who have booked or would like them.
As for choice, I'm sure we could have picked our own, but we were happy with what he gave us the keys for!

You can still pick but the keys are not in Full size SUV's all others have keys.

Ok... is that new? Everytime we had a fullsize Suv the keys have been with it.

Quick question to the OP - Had you prepaid for anything, like fuel?
We have done Savetime & I have the print out with the barcode. We have chosen to prepay for the fuel for the ease but was worried we might still have to visit the dreaded desk?

Yes this is because people were taking Full size SUV by mistake and having problems at the barrier. This is a problem only happening with full size SUV's.

You can still pick your own SUV but need to ask staff for the keys.

No need to go to the desk, paperwork checked at barrier on the way out where they will tell you about any options ie fuel.With print out with the barcode you have everything you need.
