These is also news of two dining experiences to be offered. One is a dessert party and one is a finger buffet. Bookings open on 16/9.
It will be interesting to see if the prices make it worthwhile.
We are also going for the first time this Christmas... a reckless decision as we are also going next summer. Really really glad we are going now. I think we will have to try to get a booking for the Merry and Bright Dessert party!

That was exactly DHs view... he was quite shocked to learn it had nothing to do with Ozzy!

I'm really sad they are removing this. Luckily we saw it in 2012 but had always wanted to return to see it over the next few years

Oh no! This was on my "To Do" list for when we next go back. Is it silly to feel gutted over Christmas lights

Had always thought we would be able to return one Christmas in the future to see the magical sight of the dancing lights. Looks like we won't have the chance to see again
They will be missed by many and remembered forever by anyone who saw them

When DH asked me what I wanted to do for my 50th birthday I had no hesitation in returning to see the Osborne lights, and spent my birthday watching the lights. They are fabulous and it's such a shame they are stopping. I really hope they return one day as for me they are right up there with wishes.

Maybe universal will buy them, they have perfect setting for them really, will be missing of HS next year now, love the lights and really the only reason we went, it's going to be a sad state of affairs in that park for a few years, they seem to be stopping all sorts, they would be better off closing park totally and getting a wriggle on with the new expansions instead of dragging it out for god knows how long

Wow.
We spoke to a CM last xmas when we were there and they were saying they weren't sure how much longer it would last.

So glad we've seen it, it was spectacular. But gutted for those who now won't be able to.
