New Ride Coming to Universal Studios Orlando - 2017

Jimmy Fallon officially announced during his Tonight Show that a new attraction is scheduled to open at the Universal Studios Orlando Resort in 2017. The new ride is to be called "Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon”.

The new ride will be replacing the old "Twister…Ride It Out" attraction which closes on 2nd November.

Thank God Twister is closing. It's about ten years too late as far as I'm concerned.

I love Twister as a movie, we saw it at DTD when it came out so has always been special but agree that the ride is appalling.

Feel as if I'm sticking my neck on the line a little bit here, but I thought it was April for a minute and that this was a joke!

Seems a bit of an odd choice and storyline! It will no doubt be referred to as the "Jimmy Fallon ride" once it's in - but will seem a little out of date should he ever leave or be moved on from the Tonight Show!

am truly gutted about this one, missed twister last time i went as had young kids didn't do any planning and thought it was a roller-coaster ride only realised whilst planning for trip no 2 and so was looking forward to going on this next year but now can't

Wondering if anything else will be shut during visit in March looking like loads of parks refurbing/building stuff...oh well need and excuse for another visit

Oh what a shame, we love Twister but not arriving until 10th November...sounds like this is going to be another Transformers/Spider-Man attraction (it appears Universal have lost their imagination).
