There are so many options parking at DS. We've never stayed on site but every holiday (twenty times at least) we park at DS and catch a bus to a resort.
Last year for instance bus to Wilderness Lodge and boat across to the Contemporary. Toured the other two monorail resorts and bus back to DS. Or bus to either Boardwalk, Y&BC or S&D then catch the boat ride around them all. Same bus serves all four resorts. Or just leave car at DS and boat ride to POR or OKW or SSR. All WDW transport (bus, boat and monorail) is free to "guests" who are simply visiting WDW property. You don't need to be resort guests, have park tickets nor have a dining reservation. Mick
