We went as soon as it opened with 2 reluctant children, who stated they wanted to leave before lunchtime! They enjoyed themselves so much we were one of the last ones to leave at 6pm! We didn’t pay for any extras ... just one tip, on the bus tour round sit on the right hand side, you get to see more of the wildlife on the side of the roads.

It's actually hard to fit it all in in a day tbh. Kids and I were excited to be going, DW less so, but turns out she was one of the most enthusiastic about it.
We did both the Lunch and the Explorer tour. Would highly recommend both. The talk by the Astronaut at lunch was fascinating and gave a real insight to travelling to space. We also got to shake hands with someone who had been off this planet, may sound strange, but was weirdly satisfying The explorer tour is a bus tour around the area. It is longer and stops more frequently than the regular tour and we found it very worthwhile. For €360 for the 4 of us all in, I thought it was fantastic value and would definitely recommend.

We went 2 days on the bounce. Have a look on their website for times of free talks. We did a walking tour of the Rocket Garden, the Saturn V and we went to the astronaut encounter (had photo after with astronaut). None of these are book in advance so not tied to times. We always head for the bus tour that's included in the price first.
You can sometimes pick up discount coupons up in the free flyers in hotels. |

I'm worried about this. I last went in 1999 and couldn't see everything I wanted to in a day ( I'm a space geek)
Now there's so much more there - I think I might need a week. I can see I'm going to have to miss all the rides and entertainment stuff if I want to see all of the real science |
