MNSSHP- entery early?
Hi all
We are thinking of going to the first Tue party in Aug. We are staying on site for 11 days and will off been to MK twice by then. Is there an advantage to entering early?(4pm). Ideally id like to have dinner at a hotel and go in at 6ish? What do people think? Thanks |

Do you have 14 day passes as well ? If so you just go in the park as normal at anytime and just stay in the park.
If you are thinking of the poly our mnsshp plan was stay at the contemporary , check in but room not ready so leave overnight bags in the car and head to mk . The park is normally quiet on mnsshp days . Stayed in the park until about 12sh , went to the pool and had a relax then booked dinner at the contemporary about 3:30 ish , got changed and strolled over to mk to start the party , collected wristband and bingo . Queues start to build up from 4pm fur the character meets as some do come out early . If you decide to stay in the park their are stations where you can get your wristband from 4pm .

There is no advantage in going early other than to have more time in the park. There will be no Halloween party stuff going on before 7pm (though some characters sometimes come out slightly early) so you won't miss anything. The only reason you need to go early is if you want to meet certain characters - the queues for those are very long and if you can start joining the queue around 5-6ish then you're ahead of the game instead of wasting party time with queueing.

Thanks both. Yes we have a 14 day ticket. We are planning to go to MK in the morning and then go back to the poly for pool/ rest time. I would like to have dinner and ideally get a early cocktail at Trader Sams( for the fun and frolics) before going to the park for Halloween fun.
We wondered about Contemporary as its walkable but have always wanted to stay at the Poly 🏝 |

Just a word of warning, the first party will be absolutely rammed. It was sold out last year, plus they invited media. The lines for some characters were already three hours long an hour before the party started. We’ve done MNSSHP multiple times and it remains my favourite WDW event, but we’d never do the first party again.
My advice would be to plan what you want to do (again difficult for the first one as maps etc haven’t been released, so base it on last years) and don’t ever expect do everything...prioritise. If you want to meet Moana or Jack and Sally, don’t expect to do anything else definitely dress up!
