o dining package - how to book a restaurant...

Hi
As the heading suggests we have no dining plan but want to eat in one of the countries in Epcot - do i have to book this before i go or just turn up?

Depends, on when you are going, what time you want to eat... etc Some countries are more "popular" than others, if there is one that you really want to eat at, personally I would make an ADR. Walk-ups are a lot harder to get than they used to be

I agree with this. If you really want it then book it. If you just think you might fancy somewhere on the day then at the very least I would check the Disney app that day for any free tables.

Just go on to the Disney website and under “thing to do” choose dining. You can search for the date and time you want and see what’s available or search the specific restaurant.

Just to add, you’ll need to leave credit card details but this is just in case you don’t turn up. They won’t charge the card unless you don’t show up in which case they’ll charge $10 per person.

You might have left it a bit late for reservations in the easter holidays. When did you book? You could have started booking at 180 days out. Will be a lot easier to link everything together if you have a 'my Disney experience' account. If you haven't got one, do that first. Lastly, if there is no availability for your chosen restaurant, don't give up hope keep trying. People change their plans all the time.
