Can you tell me your tips and must do things in the everglades ?

It is a while since we did it, but the tour at Shark Valley is well worth the time.

We took a motorboat trip out to ten thousand islands - just us and the skipper which was great, saw loads of wildlife, took a walk on one of the deserted islands and dolphins followed and played in the wake of the boat. That took around 3 hours and then in the afternoon we met a guide who took us kayaking through the everglades for 2.5 hours. It was brilliant and so incredibly peaceful. Both guides were born and grew up in Everglades City so really knew the area.

We arranged private tours through Tour The Glades who are based in Everglades City but you can also join group tours.

Driving the Tamiami Trail is also a wonderful drive with so much wildlife just by the side of the road.
