Miami area

We've been to Florida for the past 7 years, 4 years in Orlando and 3 years on the Gulf Coast. This year we are thinking of trying the Miami area and the Keys - can anyone recommend the best areas around Miami, we don't want to be in the crazy areas! Thanks

We only flew into it and travelled to key largo which we loved - stayed a couple of nights . Amazing time .
Have never stayed in Miami so cant help you there I�m afraid .

We�ve stayed in Coral Gables north Miami Beach and South Beach all of which were fine, depends what you like. We enjoyed staying near the beach at South Beach and there�s plenty of bars and restaurants - parking is a pain though. North beach is much quieter. Coral Gables is more upmarket, further from the beach but again some nice restaurants nearby.
