Airbnb MGM Signature, would you/have you?

We are looking into booking through Airbnb for a suite at MGM Signature but I've never booked Airbnb and my husband and I worry!

Has anyone else done this? Worries we will turn up and there is no room etc 😂

I used air bnb for the first time last year and shared your fears! But everything was fine. The most important thing to remember is to pay through air bnb website, then you are protected. The scams usually happen offsite. People place an advert for a home they don’t own, then ask you to pay them directly away from Air bnb. This is a typical scam on other sites too. If you stick to Air bnb and use a host that has plenty of good reviews you should be fine.
Funnily enough I tried to find an Airbnb in The Signature last year, but the one I wanted wasn’t available on my dates. I ended up just booking through the resort itself. But it didn’t have all the extras the Airbnb had like crockery, wine glasses, etc. If I went again I would definitely try and get an Airbnb suite.

Have a look at VRBO as well, like Air BNB, I know a few have rented off there.

We have booked twice in the Signature with Home Away and have booked the same room again with one of the owners for this year. Have a look on there, the owner we booked with only takes a deposit and you pay the balance a few weeks before you go.
