Edinburgh Airport

Hey, anyone know if you can get a room with a runway view at any hotel near Edinburgh Airport? TIA

I dont think so. They do have a couple of hotels but none of them overlook the apron or the runway. There is a new one that has just been built but I think its too far away. The terminal building is between any of the hotels and the airside stuff. Been a few years since I worked there so someone am sure will have more up to date knowledge.

The Holiday Inn Express has some runway view rooms.

I always use the holiday inn express at the airport, they have rooms looking onto the runway

I learn something new every day! I worked there for four years and had no idea there was runway view hotel rooms. I may have to use them if we fly out from there again. Fab!

That's cos it's the one over by the RHC - I always forget its there myself.
