Eating out near Worcester/Malvern

We have a week booked near Malvern in a couple of weeks and it would be great to get some recommendations for good local places to eat. We are two adults and two teens so would be looking for good quality pubs, cafes for breakfast/lunch, farm shops etc.

Thanks!

I really recommend Hanbao in Worcester... the best burgers ever and Hickory’s Steakhouse too.

Thanks! I'm guessing Hickories is taking part in the eat in offer as they were booked up Monday - Wednesday evening, so I've booked lunch instead.

Depending on where you are staying, the Swan at Hanley Swan is nice too. Friar Street Kitchen in Worcester does amazing afternoon tea benches that will appeal to the teens too

We live in Worcester, I can highly recommend The Olive Branch, the food is superb and very reasonable considering it’s all fresh. They do tapas, pasta, fish dishes and the most amazing kebab skewers!

Ounce is also supposed to be amazing for steaks if that’s your thing

Swan at Hanley Swan is lovely and Malvern Hills hotel has good views and food. Both are doing eat out to help out. And although a chain our Ask has the nicest staff so we like it there too.

I live in worcester... chesters in the town centre is lovely, mexican type food but menu has other options too. In st johns near to the afoementioned wonderful hickories smokehouse is a chinese called rubys. It has a all you can eat type option menu but your choices are cooked freshly for instead of being out buffet style. For a curry pasha in st johns is a firm favorite with ua and alot of our friends. The nags head pub in malvern is nice, if you are after cheap and cheerful the foley arms hotel is a westherspoons and has some lovely views too. If you are in worcester city in thebday and want refreshments lots of coffee places, usual chains, but if you are after a coffe and cake the best by far is an independant call francinis cafe de columbia. Run by a lovely columbian family . Just outside of worcs in hallow is a nice pub called the crown, always enjoy our meals here.Have a great visit here in our neck of the woods!

Thanks so much for all the ideas - Hickories and the Swan at Hanley Swan now booked and an email sent to the Olive Branch!

We are staying near Doddenham to the west of Worcester and also plan to visit the Pershore/Evesham area so any more recommendations welcome.
