I love my Shark but it might be a bit pricey if you just want it for kitchen and car.

Just bought a Bush cordless cleaner from Argos, less than £80 . It does everything our Dyson does for a fraction of the price and the battery lasts longer and gives a warning when power is getting low.

Does this have separate small hand held parts so use in car

Hoover do quiet a few different models priced between £120 - £250, but there's lots of other manufacturers on the market that make good cordless vacuum cleaners👍, sorry couldn't resist.

The various attachments including the powered brush head can be fitted directly to the main unit for cleaning the car, upholstery, etc. or for use in confined spaces, or by using the extension tube for floors etc.

I got a G-Tech Pro, and I find it works great. I do have all the bits, but I cant remember if they came with it or if I bought them separately.

The battery would last long enough to do the whole house, but I basically only really use it on the hard floors and one large rug on the ground floor, as well as the carpeted stairs.
