She says that the officer who initially dealt with them was polite but it was his colleagues behaviour that prompted the complaint. Apparently one suggested the tint on the rear windows was illegal, where there is no legal level of tint for those windows.

Police officers will end up having to tread on egg shells before long just to do their job.
I presume she just wants black people to be treated the same way as white people. By highlighting it she wants the police to reflect on their actions and hopefully any bias or unconscious bias can be dealt with and reduced.

If she wants white and black to be treated the same she needs to be honest about the knife crime stats, gang violence and drug supply. By stopping more black youths the needless deaths can be reduced. 3 deaths and 14 stabbings in London on the day previous to her being stopped.

Is that not the point the MP is making?
Sometimes when a police car drops in behind you, they will check who the car is registered too, it brings up information like if the car is taxed and has a current mot. If not they will pull you over. Happened to my son, they said his mot had run out and to get it done asap as it could make your car insurance invalid.
Once we were driving to the airport in the early hours of the morning and a police car parked by a roundabout pulled us over. He wanted to know where we going at that time in the morning and checked who the car belonged too. At the time we had a BMW and he said there was a spate of BMW cars in the area being stolen so they were stopping and checking BMW drivers. Can't fault the guy for doing his job and he wished us a good holiday.

In that case she should take on board that white people get pulled over too but don't see fit to make a song and dance about it.

However we also know from her actions that she fervently believes that as an MP she should be exempt from the rules that apply to the rest of us. Who the hell does she think she is? She ain't Dominic, she has to play by the rules like everyone else...

Well as a passenger, hope she was sitting in the back on the opposite side to the driver. I believe they are the rules if not from same household

Dealers will pre-register cars . One dealer in a group may do the registration exercise on behalf of the whole group ( or part of a group ) even if the cars aren’t at that site . ( often the pre-registered cars are still at the manufacturers compound when registered , or the group may shift cars round the group on transporters rather than having too many at one location. )

I put my personal plate on my car as it came with a BJ registration number.

Hope the above link works .
If this is genuine , it makes a mockery of the claim of racism given the drivers appearance
