I think here in Wiltshire we aren’t due them from tomorrow afternoon through to Friday lunchtime, but need them to clear the humidity. My riding lesson on Thursday morning could be interesting!
Heavy rain worries me as we have a leak in the conservatory, guess I’ll be up ladders today to check gutters and gulleys are clear to give it the best chance!

Not due to get any storms here on the outskirts of SE London until Weds evening and by then we would have had 7 days of temperatures over 32 degrees. It's been absolutely stifling and so humid during the day and not much better at night, so hard to get a good nights sleep. We desperately need a Florida style storm to clear the air!

That was the weirdest Florida like storm I've seen here ever.
2 hours of continuous non moving dry lightning, little thunder, then about 1.00am bang! Probably an hour of heavy rain with 20 minutes of Florida style! Beautiful, warm, fresh sunny morning now. |

My daughter thought we was having visits from out of space! It was amazing to watch the sky all lighting up.
Poor Tilly could bot settle though 😫 It is still stuffy this morning though |

Wish we’d had a storm. Still ridiculously humid here in Essex.

I love thunderstorms and they seem to be a really rare occurrence here.

We’re staying on the coast near Morecambe and I’ve never seen a storm like it (even in Florida). I have photosensitive migraines and had to put an eye mask on as the lighting was so frequent It was almost strobing.

We're in Wiltshire - the thunderstorms are going to be rolling in tomorrow I think. Can't wait - I am hoping it will clear some of the humidity from the air and cool things down a little, 31 degrees forecast here again today.
