I’m shocked that they thought they could walk in even if you weren’t there , what if you had stuff stolen and who goes out leaving their door unlocked? Our house faces the main road and the Front door is always locked Even though I work from home there are always people walking up and down the road ( large estate)
Aren’t landlords supposed to give you notice ?
We lived in rented for 6 months and past tenants had left without giving the keys back , we changed the lock and put it back when we moved , we never told the agency as the landlord lived abroad😊

The landlord did give notice but they didn't turn up as agreed. Perhaps there was a mix up with dates?
However they shouldn't just walk in and if the door was unlocked then they should have called out.

None of the trades people I have had in have worn masks.
