You know I always thought you had to pay extra for cream on hot chocolate, that is why I prefer Starbucks as their reward system gives free cream etc

I so feel your pain. For a large company like costa to run out of hot chocolate is a poor show. I was gutted a while ago when my local costa had no skimmed milk. They won't go the shop feet away to get more skimmed milk, because if it's not costa skimmed milk they can't use it?

Not the case in our new local Costa, new drive through one opened less than week ago. We visited Sunday, 20 mins in queue, no Christmas menu available as sold out, not one clean table an none cleaned in hour we were there although lots of staff around chatting, no cream or marshmallows.
Run out of milk so staff popped to tesco across way, we watched them unload boot full of Tesco milk.
Toilet seat hanging off and bins over flowing... needless to say we wont be rushing back 😯
