Transfer from POR to cruise ship
Hi everyone,
We are staying at PoR in the next few weeks and then going on The Dream afterwards. We had planned on getting ME. However, we are now worried that won't pick us up until later and we will therefore miss a good chunk of the 1st day. Does anyone have experience of this or have any thoughts on the best way to do this? Thanks 😁 |

Hey there, yeah we got picked up around 11am ish if I remember correctly and after a few other pick ups we got aboard the ship around 12.30/1...they don’t open the corridors until 1.30 so you have to hang around with luggage anyway...if you have hand luggage like us that is. There were people already using the pools etc though when we arrived and obv Cabanas is open for lunch so if you get there earlier you could do stuff I guess 🙂

Also just to say, you may not get your money back on the transfer depending on how close to the cruise you are. I can't remember the refund period for the transfers but hopefully someone else will know.
Other options may be cheaper than the DCL transfer anyway depending on how many of you there are.

Just another 'just so you're clear' note - the transfers from resort to port are not Magical Express.
ME is free and takes you from airport to resort and back. DCL transfers are $39 pp each way. Joa
