Airboat Rides

Hi, we will be staying in Kissimmee, and I would like to go on an airboat ride, just for the 4 of us. We won't have a car. Can anyone recommend where we can book that's close to where we're staying. Thank you x

Hi Jeanette, welcome to The Dibb

We did Spirit of the Swamp, these are smaller boats that only sit 6, so with 4 of you, you would have your own tour, we did the 90 minute tour and I would highly recommend. They are probably about half an hour from Kissimmee, so you could get an Uber.

Alternatively, you could look at the ticket companies eg Floridatix or ATD and they would do an airboat ride with transport, this tends to be Boggy Creek, which are larger boats.

You can book Wild Florida with return transportation too, we did this in 2013. Van picked us up & brought us back. There's a wildlife park too, would recommend.

I think Orlando Attractions do this with transport, Grayline too worth having a look.

We've been back since 2013 too, but driven ourselves.

Highly recommend Wild Willy's - very personal experience with your own boat and experienced captain for the full hour..best thing we've ever done!

Spirit of the swamp are amazing!
Great experience with them and I�ve always had more than time than we booked for

Spirit of the Swamp is the company we've booked with (again)
You get a more personal tour with headsets so you can talk to the driver/pilot/whatever they are called, and they give you so much info about the wildlife.

On some of the other companies like Boggy Creek and Wild Florida you have more people on the boat and can't hear anything

Thank you for the tips all. I've been researching a 90 min airboat ride and was unsure who to use. Have now looked into Spirit of the Swamp and booked for me and hubby. Looks fab!
