I went today. Loved the wide range of Disney and HP stuff (including some limited editions). For the price, I thought the quality was good too. The HP section is small but themed well.

It was very busy, but didn't feel too crowded as the aisles are wider than usual for Primark. The queue for the tills was mad though (on every floor)! They had those lollipop people to show the end of the line like at WDW for rides.

Couldn't get into the Disney cafe as there was a big queue. The interactive Disney games bit for little kid's looked cool.

The custom Disney/Star Wars tshirt printing terminals were closed by 1pm as they had taken so many orders that morning that they wouldn't be able to fulfill any more by the time the shop closed. This meant I couldn't browse potential designs, but I spoke to the staff and it seems there's a huge range of characters to pick from. No HP for now, but she said maybe in the future. The best thing to do is order you Tshirts first, then do your shopping while waiting for them to be printed.

I'm looking forward to taking my kids when it's (hopefully) less busy.

Sounds great! I’m sure the crowds will calm down once it’s been opened a while. And when the Easter holidays are over ☺️

DD wants to go for her Birthday in July. I hope it's a bit quieter by then but doubt it.

It totally felt like being in a Park. I went on the Saturday and you had to line up to get in the doors. And the Dj music didn’t help the experience, you had to take three trips round each section to get a proper look. Not going to attempt going again until it dies down.

To be honest though I was a little disappointed, it’s a bigger store I expected more Disney and hp. A lot of the products that are available at others wasn’t here. So I was just a little disappointed, hopefully in time maybe.

I haven't even considered venturing into Primark in town yet. I'm waiting for a few months and will not be going on a Saturday or school holiday heh!

There was some pics of the food from the cafe in the Birmingham Mail last week. The Mickey Pancakes looked terrible. I don't think i'll be trying the food in there when i do eventually go.
