Tesco Fresh Turkey
Hi everyone
For the last few years we have had a frozen turkey which has been more than fine, but due to freezer capacity this year and the fact that I managed to get a Tesco slot on 23rd, I have decided to opt for a fresh one. They have two choices in the XXL which is basted or non basted, can anyone please give me their experiences of either of these Tesco turkeys and the differences. I would assume that the basted one would be better but i'm not sure how much difference it makes. Many thanks in advance

No idea tbh the difference, I get one from the butchers so take it it is unbasted, I spread our turkey with butter (proper butter!) then cover with streaky bacon, always comes out lovely

Thank you for your reply, yes this is what we have always done too. So I think I will go for the unbasted one based on that.
